About Gerry Halpin
Gerry Halpin has been painting professionally since 1990. He has held many successful exhibitions and in 2001 he was elected a member of Manchester Academy of Fine Art for his contribution to contemporary painting.
For his art and charity work, raising over £100,000 for local causes, he was awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours List 2009 and received the honour from HM The Queen at an Investiture at Buckingham Palace in March.
